The Kansas City Roller Warriors already held their 2016 season opener on March 5th, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty more flat track action to come this month, from several leagues including the Roller Warriors. It’s rare for them to hold more than one home bout night in the same month, but this season, they’re doing it not twice, but thrice. We’ll get to that later.

We got derbyin’ to do.

March and April certainly have their share of date conflicts, but starting with May, there are no more this year, so we’ll be done with having to choose and we can just soak up all the derby action we can handle.

March 26 is the date to watch this month, with KCRW and Fountain City both holding bouts that night in KCK and Independence, respectively. As of press time, KC Derby Digest will likely be sending a photographer to the Fountain City event, since we’ve already missed one of theirs this year due to another conflict.
