Monday night was Game 2 of the Kansas City Junior Roller Warriors 2015 season, and once again, fans at Winnwood Skate Center were treated to some of the best junior derby action we’ve seen in quite some time. Starry Fright brought home the win over Rolling Thunder 202-165, which brings them to 2-0 on the year, and we’re only halfway done.

The Junior Roller Warriors’ next bout is on August 10 at Winnwood, and their Summer Closer is a week later on August 17. Both are Monday nights, and neither is to be missed.
Special congratulations go out to Game 2’s MVPs for each team: Demon Seed and V-Dub of Rolling Thunder, and Miranda Slambert and Pebbles of Starry Fright, pictured here.
We hope to see all you derby fans out at Winnwood on August 10 and August 17 for the second half of the Kansas City Junior Roller Warriors 2015 season!
