For those of you who haven’t already heard the news on various social media, tonight’s Fountain City Roller Derby games between coed teams The Public Enemies and Untouchables, as well as Zombie league teams Black Plague and Gang Green, have been postponed.
You and me both, buddy.
B&D Skate Center, where FCRD’s games are held this season, sustained significant storm damage earlier in the week. Reported winds of 90+ mph tore part of the roof off, among other things, which in turn created a whole host of other problems and closed the rink down for “2 to 4 months,” according to a post on B&D’s Facebook page.
Fountain City Roller Derby issued a statement on their Facebook page this week about what fans can do with the tickets they’ve already purchased for tonight’s games:
For those who have purchased tickets, you can do one of three things:
1) Hold on to the tickets and use them for entrance into the make-up game.
2) Use them as a voucher for another game.
3) Contact the player who sold you the tickets and return them for a refund.
